Rishikesh offers rafting rides ranging from 9 to 34 km. Kaudiyala, covering a distance of 34 km, is the most remote rafting point in Rishikesh. There are five rafting points from Kaudiyala to Rishikesh, including Shivpuri, Brahmapuri, Marine Drive/Club House, and Ram Jhula. These distances include a variety of rafting challenges, ranging from mild Grade I to thrilling Grade VI rapids. These rapids are suitable for both beginners and experienced rafters. The grading system from Grades I to VI measures the complexity level of the adventurous exercise.

The rafting journey starts from Tapovan, where the trip tradition’s rafting team takes you to the starting point of rafting in their vehicle. There are mainly four starting points for river rafting in Rishikesh:-

If you are trying rafting in Rishikesh for the first time, do a 9 km rafting from Brahmapuri to Lakshman Jhula. It will motivate you to do more, which will make you more courageous.

12 km Rafting - Marine Drive to Shivpuri

Best time to try Rafting in Rishikesh

  • Please avoid carrying mobile, cameras, and other electrical gadgets while rafting.

* Note – Those needing more confidence in their swimming abilities are advised to stay away from Grade III and higher rapids when attempting rafting.

Booking Terms: 

You must pay 30% of the booking amount to book a journey. Upon receipt of this payment, you will receive a confirmation shortly. The balance amount should be paid on the day of arrival before commencing the journey.

Cancellation Terms:

  • Any cancellation on or before 30 days from the scheduled journey will not be deducted from the booking amount.
  • For cancellations 30 to 15 days before the scheduled journey, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking amount will be deducted.
  • Cancellations within 7 days or less of the scheduled journey will attract a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking amount.
  • In case of a ‘No Show’ (immediate failure without prior cancellation), no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

Refund Terms: If your booking is canceled, any applicable refunds will be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method.

Confirmation Policy:

  • On successful booking, customers will receive a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours.
  • If the preferred time slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule will be arranged as per the customer’s choice, and a fresh confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
  • Customers may cancel their booking before confirmation, and a full refund will be processed.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation 3 days before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 0% of the total travel cost.
  • Cancellations made 1 to 3 days before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 40% of the total travel cost.
  • Cancellation between 0 hours to 1 day before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 100% of the total travel cost.
