Itinerary

Day 1 :

Arrival in Joshimath from Dehradun/Rishikesh

Your arrival will be on the first day of your Auli honeymoon trip, where you can choose either Rishikesh/Dehradun or Haridwar as your arrival destination. Our driver will pick you up from there and take you to Auli for a further journey. In about 8-9 hours of driving, we will cover the Alaknanda River, the holy town of Devprayag, and other sightseeing places along the way. By afternoon, we will be at our Joshimath hotel, where you can check in and relax for some time. In the evening, go for a market walk and visit the famous Narasimha Temple and Adi Shankaracharya Math. It is a private, relaxing time for the couple amidst panoramic mountains. It is perfect for a romantic candlelight dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2 :

Joshimath to Auli – Cable Car Ride & Local Exploration

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Take a thrilling cable car ride from Joshimath to Auli, one of India's longest cable car rides, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks. On arrival, check in to your hotel or mountain resort in Auli. Spend some quality time amidst the serene snow-capped surroundings. Enjoy a nature walk to see the beautiful views or indulge in photography. Enjoy a romantic dinner at the resort and spend the night under the stars.

Day 3 :

Auli Sightseeing – Skiing Adventure & Romantic Outing

Enjoy a delicious breakfast with panoramic mountain views. Start the day with an adventurous skiing session (during the winter months). Trained instructors will guide you so even beginners can join in. Later, visit Gurso Bugyal, a beautiful meadow offering spectacular views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Dron Mountain. Next, visit Chhatrakund, a small lake known for its crystal-clear water. Enjoy a peaceful picnic or a quiet lunch with beautiful surroundings, soaking in the romance of snow-capped landscapes. Relax at the resort or enjoy an evening bonfire (seasonal) with your partner. Have dinner at the resort and stay overnight.

Day 4 :

Auli – Sightseeing & Return to Joshimath

Enjoy breakfast at the resort. Adventure-loving couples can arrange an optional half-day trip to Gurson Bugyal. This beautiful meadow offers spectacular views and is ideal for couples who love hiking. In the afternoon, return to Joshimath by cable car. Check in to your hotel in Joshimath and relax in the evening. Enjoy a farewell dinner and overnight stay in Joshimath.

Day 5 :

Departure – Return to Haridwar/Rishikesh/Dehradun

Start your day with a beautiful breakfast. Begin your trip to Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun by reminiscing the memorable days spent in the serene hills of Auli. Reach your starting point by evening and conclude your romantic honeymoon trip to Auli with beautiful memories.

Booking Terms & Policies

Booking Terms:

You must pay 30% of the booking amount to book a journey. Upon receipt of this payment, you will receive a confirmation shortly. The balance amount should be paid on the day of arrival before commencing the journey.

Cancellation Terms:

Any cancellation on or before 30 days from the scheduled journey will not be deducted from the booking amount.
For cancellations 30 to 15 days before the scheduled journey, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking amount will be deducted.
Cancellations within 7 days or less of the scheduled journey will attract a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking amount.
In case of a ‘No Show’ (immediate failure without prior cancellation), no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

Refund Terms: If your booking is canceled by us (bad weather or emergency), any applicable refund will be processed within 7 business days using the original payment method. But if you cancel your booking yourself, then no refund will be given from our side.

Confirmation Policy:

On successful booking, customers will receive a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours.
If the preferred time slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule will be arranged as per the customer’s choice, and a fresh confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
Customers may cancel their booking before confirmation, and a full refund will be processed.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation 3 days before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 0% of the total travel cost.
Cancellations made 1 to 3 days before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 40% of the total travel cost.
Cancellation between 0 hours to 1 day before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 100% of the total travel cost.

What is the most suitable time for booking an Auli honeymoon package?

In winter, December and January offer the best skiing and snow adventures whereas for summer trekking experiences and sightseeing, April remains ideal. Avoid monsoons as there will be restrictions due to rain.

Is Auli suitable for beginners who want to learn skiing?

Yes, the snow slopes there are not too dangerous. Also, there are many lessons available.

Are there ATMs and medical facilities in Auli?

ATMs are there, but moving to Joshimath would be needed for emergency medical facilities. Auli offers basic medical facilities, though.

Are all three meals included in the package?

Breakfast and dinner are included, while lunch is excluded.

Is Joshimath to Auli drive a decent one?

Yes, the road drive is very comfortable. A bigger stabler vehicle like a gypsy is best for hilly roads though.
