Located on the Pune-Mumbai National Highway (NH-48), Kamshet is a hilly plain, small town with an excellent paragliding site. With an altitude of 670 meters (2,200 ft) above sea level, it is one of the highest paragliding destinations in Maharashtra. It is located in the Sahyadri mountain range, an essential range of the Western Ghats. It is 45 km from Pune and 98 km from Mumbai. If you are a beginner, you will get three options for paragliding in Kamshet:- Joy Tandem, Instructional Tandem or Acro Tandem. All these trips are done with a trained pilot. Whereas if you are an expert, you can do rides like cross-country or thermal flying alone.

For paragliding, you have first to reach Kamshet. The nearest airport to Kamshet is Pune International Airport, and the railway station is Kamshet. Kamshet is located on the Mumbai-Pune Highway, which you can easily reach by road. After reaching Kamshet, drive to Rangoli Hotel, where our representative will welcome you for paragliding. Our guides will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the launching site. The launch point is a 4 km road distance and 400 meter walk from Rangoli Hotel, where you will board your flight.

Booking Terms: 

You must pay 30% of the booking amount to book a journey. Upon receipt of this payment, you will receive a confirmation shortly. The balance amount should be paid on the day of arrival before commencing the journey.

Cancellation Terms:

  • Any cancellation on or before 30 days from the scheduled journey will not be deducted from the booking amount.
  • For cancellations 30 to 15 days before the scheduled journey, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking amount will be deducted.
  • Cancellations within 7 days or less of the scheduled journey will attract a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking amount.
  • In case of a ‘No Show’ (immediate failure without prior cancellation), no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

Refund Terms: If your booking is canceled, any applicable refunds will be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method.

Confirmation Policy:

  • On successful booking, customers will receive a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours.
  • If the preferred time slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule will be arranged as per the customer’s choice, and a fresh confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
  • Customers may cancel their booking before confirmation, and a full refund will be processed.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation 3 days before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 0% of the total travel cost.
  • Cancellations made 1 to 3 days before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 40% of the total travel cost.
  • Cancellation between 0 hours to 1 day before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 100% of the total travel cost.
