Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Rishikesh and Local Exploration
  • Arrive in Rishikesh, the gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas, and freshen up after check-in at Trip Tradition’s hotel.
  • Take your local sightseeing tour, including visiting attractions like Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat and Beatles Ashram.
  • Indulge in adventure activities like white water rafting in the Ganges and bungee jumping (if interested).
  • Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Journey to Chopta and Immersion in Nature
  • After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive to Chopta, known as the ‘Mini Switzerland of India’.
  • Upon arrival, check into Trip Traditions’ hotel or campsite.
  • Spend the day exploring the serene beauty of Chopta, surrounded by lush green meadows and snow-capped peaks.
  • Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay amidst the tranquility of Chopta.
Day 3: Tungnath Trek and Chandrashila Summit
  • Wake up early for a hearty breakfast and prepare for an exciting trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila Peak.
  • The trek to Tungnath is relatively moderate and offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges.
  • Reach Tungnath Temple, offer prayers, and continue the journey to Chandrashila Peak, known for its panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba.
  • After spending some time at the summit, descend back to Chopta.
  • Have dinner and overnight stay at your hotel or campsite in Chopta.
Day 4: Expedition to Joshimath
  • Post breakfast, depart for Joshimath, a picturesque town nestled amidst the mountains.
  • On arrival, check-in and rest at Trip Traditions hotel.
  • Visit the local attractions in Joshimath, like Narasimha Temple, Shankaracharya Math, and Kalpavriksha.
  • If you have time, you can also visit the village Mana, the last village on the Indo-Tibetan border.
  • Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Joshimath.
Day 5: Auli Excursion and Local Delights
  • After Morning breakfast, head towards Auli, a popular skiing destination known for its pristine slopes and majestic views.
  • Enjoy a cable car ride (ropeway) from Joshimath to Auli, which offers a spectacular view of the surrounding peaks.
  • Spend the day exploring Auli, skiing (if visiting in winter), trekking, or simply enjoying the natural beauty.
  • Later, return to Joshimath and, if time permits, visit the famous Nanda Devi National Park.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Joshimath.
Day 6: Return to Rishikesh
  • Post breakfast, say goodbye to the beautiful town of Joshimath and start your journey back to Rishikesh.

Booking Terms & Policies

Booking Terms: 

You must pay 30% of the booking amount to book a journey. Upon receipt of this payment, you will receive a confirmation shortly. The balance amount should be paid on the day of arrival before commencing the journey.

Cancellation Terms:

  • Any cancellation on or before 30 days from the scheduled journey will not be deducted from the booking amount.
  • For cancellations 30 to 15 days before the scheduled journey, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking amount will be deducted.
  • Cancellations within 7 days or less of the scheduled journey will attract a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking amount.
  • In case of a ‘No Show’ (immediate failure without prior cancellation), no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

 

Refund Terms: If your booking is canceled by us (bad weather or emergency), any applicable refund will be processed within 7 business days using the original payment method. But if you cancel your booking yourself, then no refund will be given from our side.

Confirmation Policy:

  • On successful booking, customers will receive a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours.
  • If the preferred time slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule will be arranged as per the customer’s choice, and a fresh confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
  • Customers may cancel their booking before confirmation, and a full refund will be processed.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation 3 days before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 0% of the total travel cost.
  • Cancellations made 1 to 3 days before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 40% of the total travel cost.
  • Cancellation between 0 hours to 1 day before the travel date will attract a cancellation fee of 100% of the total travel cost.
